Flat Gianna in London, England

We took Flat Gianna on the tube which is the name for the subway here. She had a great time. We got off at Westminster Bridge because it has one of the best views of London. The bridge  looks over the River Thames and also has great views of the clock Big Ben , Houses of Parliament , and the London Eye to name a few. As you can see by the photos the weather is still rainy and foggy. Flat Gianna will be leaving us soon. We hope she enjoyed her day out.

Flat Gianna has more photos to share

It has being raining a lot in London lately so we have been struggling with what activities to do after nursery.  In London there are lots of soft play areas. Addie wanted to take Gianna to a soft play area called “Clown Town”.
They all had a great time.

Flat Mike is a Green Bay Packer’s Fan

Flat Mike is living just 70 miles from Lambeau Field where the Green
Bay Packers play football so he put his Packer uniform on and paid it a visit. He found a large statue of  Vince Lombardi, a famous football coach in front of the stadium.

 

Then Flat Mike found the room where the Packers store their
Super Bowl trophies. There were four of the trophies called
the Lombardi Trophy. If the New England Patriots win the Super
Bowl trophy this year they will get another Lombardi Trophy too.

Flat Mike could not resist hopping into the old Chevy
truck to deliver the popular Cheese Heads to energetic  Packer
fans.

Flat Mike enjoyed the Packer vs Giants game last weekend.
Except the Packers lost. So much Green and Gold in the stands.
Flat Mike is in the center between the goal posts. He is small
so you have to look closely.

Flat Mike is content and rests comfortably in a total Green
Bay Packer environment.

Flat Andoni and Mountain Lions

Hi 3D Andoni, it’s Flat Andoni here!
I’m sending a couple of pictures taken by my hosts’ neighbors.
These pics are from New Year’s Day, 2012, when a mountain lion browsed the neighborhood! Yikes!

We haven’t seen any lions yet, but when we went on a hike with the homeschooling group, there was a sign at the entrance of the park instructing us what to do if we come face to face with a mountain lion. I was scared, but the kids assured me that a lion would be looking for someone much more meaty than me… phew! I was glad to be flat!
Mele and Maximus said they saw a bear’s butt once when they were coming home from gymnastics. Not the whole bear, just his huge butt as he disappeared into the woods. Their Dad said it was true, and I’m glad the bears are asleep during my stay.
It snows about once a week, but the sun is shining every day, so I may be more tan when I come back!
It’s really cold, even though the sun is shining… this morning it was 4F when we were playing outside, and I got stiff with the cold. It took me a long time in front of the stove to get back to my warm, floppy self!
I’m glad it won’t be so cold when I get home.
Can’t wait to see you, man. Not too long now!
